RTR CREW are the community leaders who bring Road to Raceday to life. Coming from different fitness and sporting backgrounds, they train alongside the community, welcome new faces, share their experiences and help create the energy, connection and support that make every session feel like more than just a workout.

REUBEN CHOO

Head of Fitness & Coach

Gym founder, competitive athlete and hybrid-racing enthusiast

I’ve been involved in sport for most of my life, starting with competitive basketball before discovering CrossFit during university. I later founded Homeground Gym, which has grown to nine outlets. Over the years, I’ve competed across HYROX, the CrossFit Open, Turf Games and Division Games. I enjoy testing myself across different formats, and at RTR, I hope to help the community train smarter, move better and enjoy the process together.

CHLOE

Event Experience Lead

 Fitness Buff

Sport and fitness have always been a big part of my life. I enjoy challenging myself, trying different forms of training and seeing how far I can push beyond what I thought I was capable of. For me, fitness is also about having fun, staying consistent and being surrounded by people who motivate each other to get better.

DARIEN KWEK

Run Experience Lead

Triathlete exploring strength and hybrid racing

My fitness journey started with triathlon during my NTU days, so endurance training has always been a big part of what I enjoy. More recently, I’ve been adding strength work into my training and exploring HYROX and other hybrid races as a new challenge. I enjoy putting myself outside my comfort zone, learning new ways to train and seeing how far I can progress.

JUSTIN TAN

RTR Crew

Former bodybuilder exploring hybrid racing and functional fitness

I started out as an avid gym-goer and bodybuilder before taking on HYROX as a new challenge. I enjoy finding different ways to stay active and keep pushing myself outside my comfort zone. When I’m not training, you’ll probably find me taking a walk by the beach or experimenting with healthy and tasty meals in the kitchen.

JEREMY TANG

Run Club Captain & Coach

Runner, coach and believer in building a strong body and mind

I believe that a strong body helps build a strong mind, and coaching is one of the ways I enjoy giving back to the community. As RTR’s Run Club Lead, I’m looking forward to bringing people together through running, helping everyone progress at their own pace and making training something we can enjoy as a community.

RUAN LIM

Programme Director

HYROX participant, outdoor adventurer and midlife performance enthusiast

I previously swam competitively and today you’ll find me mountain hiking, trail running, mountain biking or training hard with HIIT. I completed my first HYROX Singapore Solo Open in April and will be back on the race floor again this November. As Programme Director of Road to Raceday and a midlife performance enthusiast, I’m increasingly interested in health optimisation and biohacking, exploring how training, recovery, nutrition and lifestyle can help us stay stronger, healthier and capable for longer.

ZANN LIM

RTR Crew

Hybrid training, running and outdoor adventure enthusiast

I’m Zann! I’ve always enjoyed challenging myself and finding new ways to grow, and fitness is a big part of that. You’ll usually find me training at REVL, running somewhere with a good view, hiking or heading underwater for a dive. I enjoy staying active, trying new things and seeing how far I can push myself, both physically and mentally.

CHING YEE

Comms Lead

Runner, dancer and HYROX participant

I started dancing at six, so for most of my life, movement meant dance rather than sport. That changed in 2025 when I began taking running seriously and eventually clocked back to back 100KM months. In April 2026, I took on HYROX Women’s Doubles simply to see how far I could push myself. Along the way, I realised the best part was not the distance, timing or finish line. It was discovering the version of myself that existed beyond something I once thought I couldn’t do.

ANGELINA LIU

RTR Crew

National rugby athlete, SEA Games medallist and coach

I was part of Singapore’s Rugby 7s team that won silver at the 2015 SEA Games, and I continue to represent Singapore in Women’s 15s Rugby and Senior Touch. I’m also involved in the sport beyond competing, serving on the Singapore Rugby Union Board and Asia Rugby EXCO, while coaching girls’ rugby at SCC. I love seeing how sport brings people together and helps us grow.

CLAUDIA

Coach

Former national volleyball player and fitness coach

Movement has always been a big part of my life. I was previously a national volleyball player, and today I continue sharing my passion for fitness as a freelance coach at REVL River Valley. I enjoy helping people discover what their bodies are capable of, feel stronger and build confidence through movement. For me, fitness is as much about enjoying the journey as it is about the result.

KENNETH NEO

RTR Crew

Muay Thai, volleyball and HIIT enthusiast

I’m Kenneth! I enjoy anything that keeps me moving, whether it’s Muay Thai, volleyball or a tough HIIT session. For me, RTR is about training alongside others, pushing our limits and getting fitter together without forgetting to enjoy the process. I’m looking forward to meeting more people through the community, taking on new challenges and sharing plenty of good training sessions along the way.
